I can tell you anecdotally that Ms. McGowan is absolutely correct. I grew up in an area of Denver that is heavily homosexual. It never ceased to amaze me how much straight women loved to be around gay men and yet behind their backs gay men said the most vile things about women.

I was in the USMC and I have been around a lot course joking and filthy talk, nothing I ever heard in the Corps compared to what I heard from gay men. Nothing...

True dat. I saw an article once...it might have been linked here...that described the medical issues homosexuals are prone to develop. It was NOT something you’d want to read while eating, but IMO bald language—TRUTHFUL language-—should be used.

There could be truth to that. I have worked daily with a gay man for over 20 years. He tends to be assertive and theatrical toward women in the company, but is very deferential to me, because he knows I would not stand for that behavior.
