2) Isn't this really just a very late term abortion? It's no different from procuring an abortion because the doctors said your kid has Down Syndrome.
This stabs my heart. We are grandparents of a fine six year old boy who was born with spina bifida, orthopedic, bowl and bladder problems, hydrocephalus, Chiari malformation, and then developed autism. He is the joy of our lives, and he lives with joy. His medical treatment and early intervention and schooling improved his conditions tremendously. He is in first grade, reading aloud and speaking. We thank God daily for this blessing. I’m sad this mother gave up, when there is so much love and giving available from others, if only she could have seen.
