Ernst was the SWEETEST victory of them all, IMHO. My liberal relatives were full out taking marching orders from Harry Reid, trying to “get out the vote” in IA for the past several days. The fact that Bailey went down is fantastic.

I think that barely’s race was over when that clip came out of him trashing grassley...he knew he stepped in it, and tried to backtrack immediately, but that got ALOT of airtime in the ad campaign.
that pissed alot of people off here in iowa, grassley is pretty popular.

I was active in the last two cycles, trying to get his opponent elected to his house seat...disappointed both times.
this time....bingo! he had no name recognition outside of his house district, which is where his base is...the rest of iowa soundly rejected his arrogant ass....

I had some friends that were lefties..hard core, and I finally had to sever the relationships with them.
IT was a bit painful at first, but it scabbed over and disappered relatively quickly...like popping a zit or soemthing similar
By the way; The DSM register nailed results almost exactly with their poll released on Sunday. They had Joni winning by 7 and she won by 8.
