I’ve noticed some Christians doing it, too. Is it more socially acceptable? The word has a strict definition in science, but a “good vibrations” meaning colloquially, with no agreed upon definition.
Whereas”spirit” has an agreed upon meaning, as in something that exists non-materially.
Energy= A renewable, easily obtained source of strength, with no agreed upon definition of origin. Exactly! It’s the easy way out for those who ‘get allergic’ to all aspects of Monotheism. That was me about 35 years ago.
