I had a ‘67 Mustang fastback w/289 - the girls loved that car but it was totally unreliable.

Dexter Gordon story...

We had a GREAT jazz club here in Dayton (Gilly’s) that seem to attract major jazz players.

I saw Dexter Gordon there and after each song he would hold his sax out in front of him and the sax would “bow” to the applause.

Forgot to mention, that ‘78 Cougar had a ‘Moonroof’. Sort of a gold coloured glass that I could open up with a switch. For some reason most people riding with me wanted to open that up and stand on the seat and stick out through the roof.
