Friends it's Sunday night again, and time to relax. Warm up the tubes for another four hours of classic radio Americana.
*tonight's show will be available at the "Info" link starting tomorrow.
An early thread today as I'll be away but do expect to be back about showtime.
Tonight's lineup looks great. The classics to new shows like Frank Merriwell and Information Please...to a fantastic 10pm hour with the Whistler (it's been too long for one of these) and Mysterious Traveler.
I can hear my windows being pressured by the wind.
How's it going out there...
Sponsored by Dr. Wests Tooth Paste. Looked that up, and came across this link to notes about popular radio premiums. You'd think Dr. West would have the leggy model flashing a white toothy smile.

We had turtles, albeit long after Dr. West's promotion. Mom flushed them because they suddenly "died" when she found out turtles can carry salmonella...
Awww, ‘Johnny Dollar’ the spiritual father of Jim Rockford.
Wouldn’t Thomas Banacek be a closer fit?
Good point — I get hung up on that “golden” expense account vs “two hundred dollars a day....plus expenses”
Hi, Stranger! We’re glad to see you here.
I DESPISE the stupid, no-real-reason-for-it clock change. But, we're lovin' us some Whistler and Mysterious Traveler! And, the Gunsmoke looks good--one I don't remember hearing before.

Hi all, thanks for the link CL.
Ready to relax...
Hi, Vision. What did you do today? That was a very early ping.
We’re having a fire in the back yard in our little fire bowl. It’s the nice thing about the cooler weather. Pork ribs on the grill, laundry in the dryer.
Volunteered at a Church dinner thing.
Nice. Maybe get a grace radio you can bring outside? (:
I did food wished coq au vin this yesterday.
All is well, just want to chill out...
Very good!
We have our Grace radio wired to speakers in and out of the house, so we’re always listening outside.
One day, I have to try some Food Wishes recipes. Time and money, and I’m there!
I haven’t had time to look the recipe up, too busy working right now, but I see the idiot bureaucrat is trying gun control on Dodge.
Tar and feather. Ugh. Really ugly.
Yeah, tar and feather is bad news—we can’t imagine—but the jerk learned his lesson and showed he wasn’t too much of jerk in the end.
