This is the second washing machine thread I've seen here in a month. Kind of strange, this sudden Freeper fascination with washing machines.

Anyway, for what it's worth, not that I'm an expert on washing machines, I recently bought a house and upon advice of others, bought a brand new Samsung WA500 top-loading model with accompanying dryer.

Went through a lot of Whirlpool and Maytags over the past 30 years - this one seems like the best of them. Runs quiet and you can fit a lot of crap in there at once. Wife likes it too.
