I generally concur. But Cochran must go and the Mississippi RINO establishment punished. He cannot remain as senator.

Should McDaniel vote for Cochran?

That is one of two situations across the country where a protest is appropriate - and McConnell is the other. If I were in Miss, I may not vote. If I were in Kentucky, I'd do it with significant nausea.

Should McDaniel vote for Cochran?

I know if I were in Texas, Kentucky, Mississippi, or South Carolina, the GOP Senate candidate would not be getting my vote.

I don't vote for those who have publically stated and worked for my demise.

That would be foolish and lack honor.

In many cases, I would say yes. In this particular case, I say no. Watching the polls until Tuesday to see if I feel safe voting for the other side in this one - if we can unseat Cochran and still get the Senate, justice may be served.

Should McDaniel vote for Cochran?

See my posts 14 and 23 on this thread for a review of Mississippi election law regarding Senate vacancies..

If people really expect Cochran to resign within a year, then it makes sense to vote FOR him so a special election would be called within 90 days. That would give McDaniel another shot at running, if he chooses to do so.

Voting for Childers means waiting 6 years to take the seat back from the Democrats.
