OT. Ottowa gunman prepared video. Via SkyNews Published: 10:28 am, Monday, 27 October 2014
Canadian police say a gunman who shot a soldier had prepared a video recording prior to the attack. Canadian police say a gunman who shot and killed a soldier at the national war memorial and then stormed Parliament before he was gunned down had prepared a video recording of himself prior to the attack.
Royal Canadian Mounted Police Commissioner Bob Paulson said in a statement on Sunday that the video is "persuasive evidence that Michael Zehaf-Bibeau's attack was driven by ideological and political motives".
A detailed analysis of the video is being conducted. Paulson says they cannot release the video at this time.
Paulson says a knife carried by Zehaf-Bibeau was taken from his aunt's property in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, and they're looking into how he got his gun.
Paulson called it an old, uncommon gun which police suspect he could have also hidden on the property.
What’s an Ottowa?
Yep. Workplace violence.
How many firearms or how few made make it an uncommon firearm. Winchester has made about 7 million of the 94 so far.
The used to mix it up with the Kickapoo
In the one picture that I saw, it appeared to be a bit longer than usual. The rifle version is a bit rarer. We may find that the caliber was *not* 30-30.
It will be interesting to find out.

Non-Canadian media error. I simply cut/paste the article as it was.
Oh, I wasn’t blaming you. Canada is part of the British Empire and the G7! For Sky News (a British company) not to be able to get their capital right is highly embarrassing.
