Congrats To RandallFlagg For Winning The Gun Talk Radio Show FR Thread Quickdraw Award For October 24, 2014!
LOL! A 1911 is outdated for self-defense.
I’ve had both. Glock is more reliable IMHO.
OMG NO!
Heh! I do try.
I’m just anxious and excited to get my XDm back from the shop tomorrow, and test it on Tuesday.
Which caliber/model?
Been there done that. Sold my 629 many many moons ago and never looked back.
Wheel Guns and Lever action Rifles,
make no mistake!
They don’t.
It’s a .45ACP, 4.5 inch bi-tone. I sent it to Springfield’s custom shop so they could install a threaded, extended barrel in her for suppressor use.

$45 strip AR lower at Brownells?
Holy COW!
A Bushy too..
I have both. Have had FTF in both, never with my G27, but with my G23. If I “needed” to make a shot, like my life or a loved one’s life depended on I would take any of my 1911s over a Glock every time, no question. To each his own.
Beautiful gun, looks a lot like one of mine.
