This one is good, but I like “A Night At The Opera” better.

Especially the scene where they absolutely MASSACRE “Il Travatore” LOL!

Margaret Dumont played Mrs. Claypool in that one.

Whitey's Lindy Hoppers are about the coolest dance group ever. They pretty much perfected the Lindy Hop used in Professional Ballroom today. Their performance In Day At The Races was pretty much duplicated in Hellzapoppin 4 years later...only cooler!

The dance scene in Day At The Races with Whitey's Lindy Hoppers inspired Club Des Belugas - Straight to Memphis which a very popular Samba music used in Professional Ballroom.

The rock band “Queen” named two of their most famous records after those Marx Bros. movies, which they loved. Afterwords,they were invited to visit Groucho at his home shortly before he passed. In rather colorful language he reportedly said “I heard you can sing. Then f***** sing! They played the Queen song “’39” for Groucho.
