I’m learning all kinds of things tonight (hopefully I’ll learn how the Giants beat KC tonight). Did Limbaugh begin his radio career in Sacramento? Do you know where he was originally from?

Limbaugh originally worked for the Kansas CIty Royals in the 80's. There he befriended the great George Brett. I get the impression, and this is just me talking, I get the feeling that Brett was a bit condescending to Limbaugh. I think that he was amazed, and impressed with the level to which Rush Limbaugh ascended. I mean Brett is an icon, but in his field, Limbaugh is infinitely much more of an icon. George Brett, I believe, was amazed, surprised, and, maybe a touch in awe of this development. I get all this from the few times Limbaugh has had Brett on his show.
