Our Penguins (just damn—they lost to the $&%#^ Flyers!) did a really great gesture last night...they had Jeff Jimerson (who is so talented!) sing (along w/the ConsolEnergy crowd) “Oh Canada.” Twitter pretty much exploded...a small gesture, but really touched a lot of hearts.
I am especially heartened myself that the Canadian PM Harper called what has happened in his country the last several days exactly what it is—TERRORISM!

Yes... A game...but their are TWO geographic rivalries that trump all when you are a Yinzer...the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Flyers. A loss to either is just not acceptable.

Yes, the Canadian National anthem at the Pens game really was a classy gesture. Of course, we have Canadian players but so do a lot of other teams.

watching a Tv show on AHC about the mafia and they had David Shippers who was a guest on Quinn and Rose back in the Clinton days....I always wondered what he looked like
