Prayers up.

If possible have someone with you when you wake up post-op. Have them take notes on post op instructions because you won’t remember because of the anesthesia.

Have that person make you take a couple deep breathes and slowly let them out.

My sister in law was a surgical and trauma unit nurse. She says the breathes help “wake up” your lungs and prevent post surgery pneumonia.

I had surgery for a blown patella tendon last December. Doing great now and had zero complications.
