Never heard it until this article. Listened to it on YT, and while the song isn't bad, I'd probably get bored and change the station, but it's not any where near being intriguing enough to be what I would have considered hit-material in my youth.

I wonder if the stations know that they publicizing the song by banning it?

"Banned in Boston" was a positive for works of "art" - books, films, etc. for both the boost and whatever notoriety people would imprint from their imaginations.

In any case, I'm an O's partisan, but now I hope SF is toast in four.

I’ve listened Lorde singing the song. I would describe it as too cute by half.

There's a KC station that has announced they're going to play the song every hour on the hour, 12 hours a day, for the duration of the series. If you were bored by it before then I image you'd really hate it by the end next week.
