Note the article says there were 3 dogs involved. Maybe not a loose family pet situation. Anyway dogs tend to run in packs and attack people from time to time.

Article does not mention if animals were tagged and had their rabies shots. If they didn’t have collars and tags, then they most likely were feral dogs.

Article wants to make LEO look bad in this situation. Doesn’t cover the other side of the story and omits other facts. Please wait until all the facts are in until making any judgements.

BTW, down here in Texas we don’t pet rabid animals, we shoot them. There is not much you can do with a rabid animal, except shoot it.

I missed the part in the story where it said the dogs were growling, acting aggressive, and foaming at the mouth.

Ok, so these dogs were rabid? Foaming, frothing at the mouth, behaving erratically? The story mentions that the officer enticed the dogs to him...In my experience, one would not entice any rabid animal toward them, just shoot them where they stand...This is a red herring, thanks for your spin...
