Although the video shows that the animals were not being aggressive when the officer fired, Cleburne police have said the officer was responding to a 911 call for assistance after several dogs cornered residents in a vehicle.

Just pointing out what so many people will ignore.

So the officer got the dogs away from the ‘cornered’ occupants & found that they were calm & friendly. Was it still necessary to shoot them?! If they’d charged the officer in a menacing way, I might’ve agreed. But this is ridiculous.
