Standard hospital protocol for a breach of a isolation patients are medical staff isolate themselves and stay local so hospital physicians can check in on you at all hours.
There is no way a nurse working in that isolation unit where there was a breach was cleared to travel. She had no reason to call the CDC.

I've been doing this for forty years, and I have no idea what you are talking about.

HERE is the CDC document titled "monitoring and movement of persons with exposure to Ebola".

Please read it, and then tell me how it applied to Amber Vinson.
