I was able to install it as a dual boot OS and am very impressed with it so far.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE DO THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

Was anyone able to make a bootable DVD or USB thumbdrive to install on a new hard drive? I didn't see the option during installation and I had to go through several older SSD drives that were previously installed in my laptops and finding one that was expendable.
Is there a better site for questions and comments of users using this beta(alpha version really) of Win10 than the Microsoft one which shows up as an icon on the desktop when Win starts? First thing is I need to turn off the charms bar crap which is what Classic Shell and Synaptics pointing device did for me so I never had that pop up when swiping from right to left. Synaptics doesn't have the option to turn off edge swipes on version 8.1 of it's software.

I read sometime over the summer that Windows 9, now labeled Windows 10 was going to be offered free to users of Windows 8/8.1. Is that still true?
