During the William Kennedy Smith rape trial the senior Senator from Chappaquiddick was asked by a reporter why the Kennedy family experienced so many "difficulties" (meaning brushes with the law). His response was something like "well,in a large Boston Irish family you're likely to see a few bits of trouble".
Well I,too, come from a large Boston Irish family and not a *single* member has ever killed anyone, raped anyone, diddled any underage kids, died of a heroin OD,been a heroin addict, had a spouse hang him/herself in the garage, etc, etc.
I am willing to bet that, unlike the Massachusetts Kennedys, you have not been living your entire life off of money that your grandfather made from insider trading, stock manipulation, and bootlegging.
Multiple generations living off of trust funds end up a lot like multiple generations living off of welfare, except the trust fund generations can afford more expensive drugs and can buy their way out of trouble.
