TGIF!!!
Good morning!
Time for the Friday BO dump!
BTW did yunz see that for the 5th time and AMERICAN has won the Canadian National Poutine Eating Championship?
Just in case...poutine = fries with cheese curds and gravy. I make mine with mozzarella cheese. IT IS YUMMY! National Dish of Canada.
Canadians are ticked off! Hehehehe!
Also Monday is not just Columbus Day but also Thanksgiving Day in Canada.
Morning!
NO WONDER my husband LOVES cheese fries with gravy! Even HE (being a Canuck)probably doesn’t know about poutine! Personally, I like ketchup on top of my cheese fries, along with a bit of sour cream.
And since you mentioned it - we are having Canadian Thanksgiving at our house on Sunday. My Canadian SIL will host American Thanksgiving at her place. They are renovating their kitchen and she gets to host the American dinner this year! We have started switching off every year since my inlaws can’t do it. It was too hard on them doing one, let alone both.
Just found this:
US Airways Flight Attendant Refused To Hang Army Ranger’s Jacket
Passengers on a U.S. Airways flight from Portland, Oregon to Charlotte, North Carolina are sharing an outrageous story of disrespect from a flight attendant toward an Army Ranger and combat veteran. He asked to have his “Dress Blues” uniform jacket hung, but the flight attendant refused, citing company policy.
First Sergeant Albert Marle had a seat in coach on the four and a half hour cross-country flight, and asked to have his uniform jacket hung. Seems like a pretty reasonable request, from a man who’s served our country, no? But passengers told Charlotte’s Channel 9 that the flight attendant said the coat closet was only for first class passengers. At that point, several first class passengers offered their seat to Sergeant Marle, but he declined their offers.

Have to run and get home.
Mornin’ everybuddy!
God bless that young man. The flight attendant couldn’t hang up his dress uniform??? Good grief!! At least the passengers are standing up for him! Shame on that flight attendant!
Morning AM! Dead tired. Awoke at 3:15 and couldn’t get back to sleep until around 5:00. I’m going to be dragging at work today! Fellow employees better watch out - I’m a gonna be grouchy!
Good morning n’@!
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to Mr. S:)
I’m still missing baseball...but the Pens won their home opener last night.
Wonder what FRIDAY document dump will occur?
Drudge has a headline (but needs to repair his link) about GwynethPaltrow GUSHING about how handsome Barry Soetaro is and how we MUST give him ALL the power he needs. I can’t wait to laugh when I get to read the actual story. And since its the weirdly vegan Paltrow who hosted this soirée, I wonder if her uber weird catering selections gave her “guests” digestive issues for their 32k? Poetic justice if so :)
Yes, Happy Friday! I’m hungry now for fries with cheese.
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving & Happy Columbus Day.
Can we skip the Friday BO dump?
I stayed up to watch the entire Pens game - good game, the 2nd period was iffy, but then they got themselves going again. Go Super Duper, Pascal!
My little kitty (8 mos) woke me up a few times. She likes to cuddle in the bed & if I roll over, she meows to be pet. She’s really a good kitty - playful, but loves to snuggle. Its the little things in life.
You are SO RIGHT...it’s the little things that are important:) the furbaby sounds adorable!
I watched the entire game too...and all was right with the world when Pascal ended his interview w/ “thanks Dannnnn.”
:)
Double the turkey. Double the stuffing.
Sid Crosby, Pascal Dupuis, Russell Martin.
I knew there was a reason I liked Canada.
Yes - I had missed that “Dannnnnnn” :)
We adopted two fur kids. The kitten one is awesome. The older one (3) is mostly hiding under the bed. We’re working on her with love & patience. She comes out to eat/drink/do her thing - and then runs back to the bedroom. She likes to be pet, but being out in the open scares her.
