David Young of Iowa's 3rd Congressional District wants to give work permits to 12 million illegals. The only story available is copyright. The retiring Tom Latham was more conservative on every issue than this David Young character.
I hope Joni Ernst can still win the Senate race. David Young worked for Grassley. Grassley and Jeff Sessions were probably the 2 best on the Judiciary in terms of exposing Chuck Schumer. What has Young learnt on immigration from his time with Grassley? I know Grassley says he doesn't like using the word amnesty but Grassley pretty much trashed every aspect of the bill and voted against even opening debate.
“What is wrong with work permits? Sounds like a good idea to.me. It is not amnesty...not even close.”

This potential RINO reinforcement is for way more than “work permits”. He’s for a “pathway to citizenship” (code language for AMNESTY) and for allowing ALL UNDOCUMENTED aliens to apply for that path.
IMHO this idiot doesn’t realize that AMNESTY is an existential threat to Americans or, even worse, realizes it and will pursue it anyway out of selfish ambition. He does NOT need to be in the House Republican caucus joining the Amnesty shills already there.
Interesting indeed.
BTW, I am a friend of, neighbor, and primary supporter of Brad Zaun.
You are aware that his opponent is Staci Appel?
I don’t care. She won’t be voting within the Republican caucus and therefore will not have a say in what it (and therefore the House as a whole) does but Young would and would be on the RINO side of the balance. We’re better off without him in the caucus.
I tend to agree with you, and suspect the same situation with Joni Ernst.
I think this is war, with gulags and murders not far away. RINOs are on the wrong side.
Civil wars often make strange bedfellows, and strange enemies too.
“I tend to agree with you, and suspect the same situation with Joni Ernst....”

I don’t believe that Joni Ernst is a RINO. I’ve supported her from early on and she has had Tea Party support from early on.
Her campaign and money come from Romney’s organization.
You’re being SILLY. SOME of her campaign money came from me and MANY other conservatives. For example, see the following endorsement link from the Senate Conservatives Fund.
http://www.senateconservatives.com/site/endorsements
SCF is a bit player here.
Ernst’s main support is from Karl Rove’s American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS, socially liberal but low-tax Freedom Partners Action Fund, and the US Chamber of Commerce.
Nothing wrong with Ernst exactly, but don’t expect TEA party-type leadership.
They are flooding across the border because Obama gave them work permits to take jobs.
Some Republicans are considering codifying Obama’s illegal acts.
They aren’t flooding across the border because they want to vote for Clinton or Liz Warren in the Democrat primary.
Id rather 8 years of a conservative than 10 years of a RINO.
There’s a lot of conservatives in Congress who would not be there had the local RINO candidate won in 2006 or 2008.
She is to the left of Grassley on immigration.
Vote for a Democrat or leave it blank. I will never vote for a Dem...never, never, never.
People already here, working, should have work permits and pay taxes like the rest of us do. Those coming in now don’t show up to get any kind of status.
“...Theres a lot of conservatives in Congress who would not be there had the local RINO candidate won in 2006 or 2008.”

You, sir, have an outstanding understanding of the situation. We need to continue the STRATEGIC process of OCCASIONALLY picking off (or, more likely, forcing into early retirement) incumbent RINOs (such as the absolutely despicable and duplicitous Eric Cantor). We want to prevent NEW RINOs from being elected and work hard to insure that an increasing number of constitutional conservatives are elected to the House Republican caucus.
The House Republican caucus currently has a sufficient number of conservatives to keep Boehner from advancing Amnesty and other “progressive” legislation (and THAT pisses Boehner off royally). We want to increase the ABSOLUTE number of Republicans and conservatives in the House and increase the percentage of that caucus that is “hard core” conservative. The 2014 midterm election is the next step to continue this process of taking back America from the Leftists. And we need to educate our fellow constitutional conservatives on the wisdom and practicality of this strategy.
There will probably be people writing in Steve King for the Senate and for IA3.
