Keep in mind macs retain their value. You can sell a used one and get good money for it. If anything can go wrong with it, it usually does during the first month or two and they cover it.

( unless you drop it or spill coffee on it.)

I’ve had a Mac performs 575 from the mid 90s which still runs, and laptop, an iPad, and an iPhone 4S. I love my iPad best I think. I bought it for 300 when it was being discontinued. I know my OS systems are not the latest but they do what they need to do for me, and that makes me happy.

Besides, I just like the look and feel of Apple software over Windows.

Perfectly agree, Gefn, it is just a lack of USB versatility with the ipad that holds it back.
(Plus the inner Yorkshireman. Ee byeck ow much?) :)
