I'm not familiar with this source, but it popped up as Breaking NEws: BREAKING NEWS: Nancy Snyderman To Be Monitored For Ebola Princeton resident and NBC News Chief Medical Editor and Correspondent Dr. Nancy Snyderman is to be flown back from Liberia where she has been reporting on the Ebola outbreak in Monrovia. A cameraman on her team has tested positive for the disease, the fourth American to have contracted Ebola in Liberia. According to NBC News President Deborah Turness, “he will be flown back to the United States for treatment at a medical center that is equipped to handle Ebola patients.” The rest of the crew, including Dr. Snyderman, are being closely monitored and show no symptoms or warning signs. As a precautionary measure, she will be quarantined for 21 days. Written by: Linda Arntzenius

You would think they would airlift him to a safe hospital. I mean the ones with level 4 protection. After all, why take any of the others to those places and leave this guy at a regular ole hospital?

They could put him in that bubble wrap things like the others shipped in from Liberia and send him to a safe hospital.

But they haven’t. Why?

excellent question
I would NOT have wanted us to treat him the same way we treat Americans given that he lied and entered illegally.

The Big News presstitutes national anchors always love to jet into the scene of big breaking stories. So why haven’t we seen Brian Williams and the rest of the one per center millionaire mouthpieces at the sites of these events?

I sometimes think things like “Maybe an ebola pandemic will wake the voters up and we’ll get rid of the liberal politicians.” Then I come to my senses and realize I’m only wishing in one hand and crapping in the other.

Yes, but in an effort to not allow ebola to be spread in America, he should have been sent to a level 4 capable hospital. Even if only to die.

As far as I know, all of these that have gone to the special clinics have been private operations and paid for by the users.

I agree to disagree that he should have but remember
he was NOT diagnosed until after he was admitted to presby
and it is not like the presby medical syatem here is a Podunk community hosp.We are paying for all of this.

I would not have liked them wasting resources on someone like him. Save our resources for Americans or those who don’t try to game the system

It is easy to unadmit someone and move them if only for the sake of American citizens. You know the people that care for this patient go home and move about daily. The special hospitals have negative pressure rooms that keep the virus from getting out.

In the end, Obama is going to make us pay for Ebola in Africa. Count on it.

I heard a few minutes ago, all at once, they are giving Duncan experimental drug. Yep, I bet they are. They need to get him outta there so they can declare how well they handled the whole thing. LOL But just this morning, Freidan said there was no more stock of experimental drugs. But I guess there must have been. oops!

This hospital even if they acted stupidly does have facilities for isolation and quarantine

They are as equipped to keep this asshole quarantined as any.
This is a huge system.
It frankly is better than he deserved considering how many he put at risk in his illegal family
his illegal family that is now complaining over the food we are giving them for free

The CDC said there were 4 hospitals in America equipped to handle Ebola. That hospital is not one of the hospitals the CDC said was equipped.

Look how many are dying over in Sierra Leone and Liberia.

This hospital is equipped enough to handle this lying POS who endangered many. Why are you so concerned for him?
if it becomes a problem here in usayou really think 4 hospitals can handle it?
would we send people there to only those 4? who would pay to send them there?

and one last point do you really trust the CDC?

You don’t get what I am saying. I don’t care about the guy that lied in the sense that you do. He is just a pawn.
Never mind.

he is hardly a pawn
He willingly and deceitfully came here.
He is getting better care in that hospital than he would have back where he belongs
he is getting an experimental drug that has not been used on ebola before
ALL at our expense as well as we are paying for his illegal family to move to a new place and we are giving them free food
How much more could he want
Keep the supposed “ ebola equipped hospitals” for Americans
there sadly will be more

I know the two who worked for the charity had it paid by the charity. I wonder if NBC is pushing the expense off on taxpayers for the treatment at Nebraska Med Ctr.

While the missionaries had theirs paid by their employers, my guess is that NBC is doing the same.

As far as I know, all of these clinics are private businesses, and a part of the larger hospital.

The Nebraska Medical Center is one of only four biocontainment units throughout the United States. There is another unit at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases at Fort Detrick, Maryland, one in Missoula, Montana, and a third at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, which is where Dr. Kent Brantley and nurse Nancy Writebol, the first two Americans to catch the disease, were treated.

This is my point. I don’t care about this guy. I do care that if he is not in an adequate biocontainment facility he may surely infect more people.

Remember those guys out in shirt sleeve scooping up barf? Remember the guy with the power washer?

This photographer guy that went to the center in Nebraska figured he got it from sprayback from a power washer on a car that had an infected Ebola patient in it.

I haven’t found anything yet on who is paying for NBC.

UNMC here in Omaha is the Nebraska Medical Center so it is public. Emory, UNMC and the others have their isolation/treatment centers sponsored by the Fed which is why they have to undergo periodic inspections and certifications by the CDC. The Texas hospital is not a government sponsored center as far as I know.
