just another self appointed thread natzi
“Some of us find this topic very interesting, so why don’t you lighten up a bit?”
Obviously people can have what ever hobbies or interests they like.
But, some of feel and obligation to point out the nonsense of these things and that it is charlatanism.
And ultimately, I think it is bad for the psyche and spirit to be too interested in such things.
I’d be remiss not to say so.
My guess is that "Utilizer" has never seriously studied the question and just kind of throws up blather that falls in line with the "accepted" answers provided by Big Media and the "Government" - saves a lot of work. . . .
Utilizer prefers to play the odds of 100 billion planets in the known universe but a single one has given birth to intelligent lifeforms such as Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, George Bush and Karl Rove.
Many harbor substantial fear. Anything different outside their world is bad mumbo. This is the end and the beginning. Everything they ever knew. It's just impossible and doesn't exist because were so important and all knowing here on our microscopic point of dust.
BTW, this is one of my favorite images of Mars.

Clouds Over Crater Rim
11/17/04
Clouds above the rim of "Endurance Crater" in this image from NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity can remind the viewer that Mars, our celestial neighbor, is subject to weather.
On Earth, clouds like these would be referred to as "cirrus" or the aptly nicknamed "mares' tails." These clouds occur in a region of strong vertical shear. The cloud particles (ice in this martian case) fall out, and get dragged along away from the location where they originally condensed, forming characteristic streamers. Opportunity took this picture with its navigation camera during the rover's 269th martian day (Oct. 26, 2004).
The mission's atmospheric science team is studying cloud observations to deduce seasonal and time-of-day behavior of the clouds. This helps them gain a better understanding of processes that control cloud formation.
