Some of "us" are still here but some have gone on to their resting place but some have simply moved on for various reasons. I think others might still "lurk" without commenting due to reasons of being attacked for their honest comments.
FR has some people who can't tolerate a comment questioned, politely, of course, without becoming reactionary.
That's probably very likely; after all all you have to do the get attacked is say something like I didn't vote for Romney
… or, interestingly, I wasn't sure about Obama's qualification for NBC, why am I supposed to roll over on the issue now that it's Cruz you're talking about?
The less than competent admins over the last 16 years that I've been here (under 3 names, not by choice) have chased off many younger, dynamic and creative Freepers, and FR is the poorer for it.
Can't put my finger on it. Ignorance? Evangelical extremists? Trolls? Bible thumping dogmatics? Not very constructive, whatever the case.
