I’ve read that, prior to prohibition, basically a third of all Americans were in a stupor at any point in time.

The problem with the so-called study is that it doesn’t define what is considered to be binge drinking.

I’ve read such studies in the past where someone having more than three beers or two glasses of wine a day was considered to be a binge drinker. .....Such a term is useless without definition.

I don’t understand why people can’t just stick with the fall down drunk, blackout, vomit and violence inducing all American booze swilling and leave the bad stuff like pot alone.
