We DVR and watch Jeopardy every night. I got the ‘crossword puzzle’ question wrong, I went for ‘book’ as I didn’t know what they were talking about. I remarked to my husband ‘huh, I guess I don’t know what women want’. It was a silly category but I certainly wasn’t offended by it.
Gender topics can be difficult because we have different experiences but what disturs me is when feminists only care about their own issues and refuse to acknowledge that men can be painted in a bad light. I saw Family Feud not to long ago and a question had to do with “What would wives love to do to their husbands (when men go bad)?” (or something to that degree). Answers included spanking, slapping and “sending them to their room.” Imagine if those answers were about women?
