That is simply not true. Everyone is fully capable of rational decisions at any age. However it REALLY helps to have some current real life examples of people screwing up.

Back in the 70’s when I was going to High School we had a very beautiful 14 year old get pregnant. This school did not experience another youth pregnancy for at least the next SIX years.

Similarly Drunk driving death by young people diminish after a recent local incident. Unfortunately the young need these examples every so often. Pray that your children are not the example

It has been medically proven that the decision making part of the brain does not mature in young males until about 25 years, young females a bit earlier. If you don’t believe me, visit a spinal rehab clinic and notice the age of those undergoing treatment for stupid accidents involving risks older people would rarely if ever take.
