I should have added that my mother and her siblings were rural farm laborers with minimal formal education - one sister began to collect oddities that she noticed while planting or harvesting veggies in the fields. She amassed a stunning collection of bones and relics which were examined and catalogued by professors and other archaeologists in the area.
