She may or may not have been talking about abortion. I don’t know. Given the world-wide audience, decisions about your own body could include not dressing in a burka. It could include access to health care without a male relative watching - something I encountered in Afghanistan, where a woman could be killed by her family if she had been seen in a hospital without a male relative standing by and giving his permission for her flesh to be seen. It could include not being beaten up by your rapper boyfriend, even if the President of the USA likes him.
I’m sure I disagree with Watson on a number of issues. She was brought up in England and went to liberal colleges. But overall, her message was not vile. It merits discussion, not name calling and spewing venom like some liberal hag on MSNBC.
