Can’t argue that one with you, firearms and musical instruments are worth the cost if the craftsmanship is in them. Hubby played a big KORG key board and a Peavy guitar. I carry a Taurus Ultra Lite 38 revolver, as I can clean it and it’s butt fits my small hands.
We have a choice Navy Commissary or Kroger’s both cost about the same. Commissary has a 5% restock fee. They do take coupons. Base fuel station is always 3-4 cents higher than off base.
Kroger’s has TN’s full sales tax, but lots of sales, coupons, gas points. And run a free Friday product most Fridays. Plus they will at certain times of the year do a 4 times the gas points on gift cards. Using their Little Clinic is gas points, as is prescription. Take the survey and another 55 pts. We have not paid full price for gas in a year. Usually a $1 off up to 35 gals. Hubby fills my car with a the lawnmower gas can, then takes his car and can and fills up. Nice to get gas for $2.19 his last fill of 22 gals. If he had to fill today it would be $2.01 with the $1 off per gal.
I call that maximizing.
I think I'm set...for now.
FMCDH(BITS)
Carved German upright bass, a few vintage fender pieces plus until recently an Alembic.
It’s not fancy, but my Winchester Model 70 in 300win mag is still the most fun to shoot, I Stick to wheelguns for carry.
We are fortunate to have many farmer’s markets near where I live :-)
Life is too short to buy, or use, crap.
Yeah, I call my dinners “666” eating:
6-courses, 6 hours to fix, $60 bucks in ingredients.
