The Kalifornia infection in Austin is running wild. I have seen a 2,500 sq. ft. house on a 1/4 acre here that goes for around $400,000 go for about $200,000 on 30 acres if you look in east Texas or rural north Texas.

A relative of mine recently sold a modest 1950’s ranch near the heart of Austin in Highland Park West (that when it was built was WAY outside of town) for a cool million.

Prices in Austin are insane.
