I find the toilet habits a bit unusual for a three year old. Are they?
Of course, his mother appreciates them as she has another little guy (born in December 2013) and has an ample number of other things to do.

If an adult tries to help (grandparents, parents, anyone), he pushes them out the door I wouldn't be worried, I do the same thing.

Nah. He just sounds very independent.

Please, send him to my house. I have three year old twins who REFUSE to use the potty. Would like them shamed into using it.
BTW Don’t worry, he is fine.

I wouldn’t worry about it. They can do all kinds of contortions to do their business.

Now, if we could only apply that to the 40%-50% of the adult population who seem incapable of doing the same thing. /rant
Hey, now that the urinals self flush, what’s the need?

I didn’t see the part about the ten month old until later. That may explain some of the exaggerated independence. It’s all fine.

"He climbs up on the seat, squats with one foot on each side and dangles his junk down so he hits the bowl ...
That's how adults do it in SouthEast Asia.

For the boys, put Cheerios in the bowl and tell them they get a nickel for every U-boat they sink.

I have seen adult Hispanics do the same thing. Don’t even ask me about Japan.
To: Vigilanteman
I dunno. My boys got in pee fights and one would keep us out so he could play with his poop.
I figured that was pretty normal for boys.

Leave him alone. He’ll be fine.
Until one day his foot slips off the seat and he falls in the toilet.
And THAT will be the end of THAT.

I'd be curious where he learned this. Not that there's anything wrong with what he's doing it's a learned behavior - he didn't come with it all by himself.

Other than being a late talker

Maybe he just waited till he had something of value to say?
(Like the mother had taken polite pills while pregnant. Kid was a few years old and had never said a word. One morning he said 'My milk is warm' and they all went bananas. Finally they asked why he had said nothing. 'Up till now, everything has been fine'.
Does sound like he picked up TT1 with ease.
I, for one, also wash my hands BEFORE etc etc....
