“Genius”?
LOL, Gates hasn’t done anything innovative in decades.
And what he did do could hardly be termed “genius”.

You are quite right.

Here is(was) a real genius. The “Father of the Personal Computer”, Henry Edward Roberts, MD.

Ed Roberts was a computer engineer who created the Altair 8800, and hired Gates and Allen to write code for it. They wrote code for the first Microsoft computer the Altair BASIC. For which they paid a pittance to Roberts (having met Dr. Roberts at a medical convention, he freely spoke of this).

A guy who retired from computer engineering to go to medical school and complete a lifelong dream of being a country doctor who made house calls. He lived in Cochran, GA and when he was dying, guess who came to visit him at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon— Bill Gates and Paul Allen (each in their own private jet). They owed him big time.

And he was a genius.
