Someone is going to get unfriended on Facebook real soon. From WKMG-TV in Orlando, Fla.:
According to police, Patricia Denault poured herself a shot of Fireball cinnamon whiskey and took a picture of her son taking a sip. She posted that picture on Facebook, but someone saw that picture and called the police.
"Me taking a picture and putting it on Facebook, I thought it was funny," Denault said.
Denault was arrested on Wednesday, charged with child neglect after she said three uniformed officers and Child Protective Services came to her house and interviewed her kids.

Why the hell isn’t her facebook profile LOCKED the hell down....???
It is probably public and probably being used by anonymous perverts who go there for pics of her children....
What a stupid woman.
She is certainly stuipid for not realizing that facebook is voluntary self-spying...
Facebook is the new, hip STASI. And the “guilty” can’t wait to turn themselves in. LOL.
I don’t know why people feel the need to post everything they do on Facebook.
There are millions of emotionally stunted idiots out there who have nothing to do but make trouble over something they saw on their computer screen.
I don’t have a problem with the alcohol. Teaching your children about alcohol is one of the duties of a parent.
I hope, against hope, they the reason she was giving him cinnimon flavored whiskey was to teach him that flavored whiskeys are an abomination and that the little tyke should learn to appreciate a fine single malt.
The authorities better be able to prove it was booze. If I was the woman, I would hire an attorney and go for false arrest. Innocent until proven guilty.
It continues to amaze me what STUPID STUPID things people post on Facebook!!
I’ve warned both of my kids NOT to post idiot things because potential employers WILL see it and it WILL curtail their job prospects.
“bad parenting. does she also have sex with them, you know educationally?”

Oh for heaven’s sake.
I was an asthmatic, underweight child and the doctor suggested Guinness’s Stout to put some weight on me.
This was the 40s-—and I detested it.
.
Another sucker sucked into SpyBook. Idiots.
Now the control freaks are saying sugar is bad for your heart, because Mooshells food Nazi tactics are being rejected.
Cops must really be stupid these days.
That wouldn’t happen here. There is an exemption that allows parents & guardians to serve alcohol to their children “for medicinal purposes”. I had a friend whose mother used to give him a shot of rum if he was cranky and not sleeping. 45 years later it still works :-)
jeez at least give him a shot of Jack or a nice single malt, not some wussified crap
“Cops must really be stupid these days. “
I don’t think the arrest was a result of stupidity. Instead it was:
Power grab from the parent by LEO,
or
Fear of public outcry if they didn’t arrest her.
In that order.
OK. I am really sick of the police state we are living in. I wonder what it will take to stop this crap?
Yea, so? I had sips of wine and champaign at family gatherings and holidays starting about that age. Small amount, just to toast with. 4 years later in Paris, we went out to a fancy dinner boat cruise down the Seine, and I had a glass of something with every course.
Slept till noon the next day, and learned what a hangover was. To this day, Wine still gives me a foggy haze the next day. Anyway, It kind of took the mystique out of alcohol for me.
Under controlled conditions with parental consent and supervision; small amounts, I don’t see a problem with.
Beer/wine is one thing, liquor quite another... PARTICULARLY for a child.
Tagline invoked :)
Whoa, that escalated quickly. My mom used to let me take a sip of wine once in a while, does that make her equivalent to a child molester in your book too?
I was given a sip of a frozen daiquiri at age 8 at a bridge party. I didn’t have another drink for 12 years.
You have a one track mind. You try to spin pedophilia into every subject.
Now that you have posted it on the internet, no doubt some busybody is dialing 911 at this very moment. /s
