Well at the store I visited the kitchen is basically part of the dining area so you can see your food being prepared.
Cleaning the cooking area was one of the things that the manager was yelling about.
But the floor of the dining area was filthy and many of the tables had not be cleaned so we had to search for a clean table.
Never went in the bathroom so I won’t comment.
Just not a place I want to go back to.

I’ve been to Waffle House about six times in the last 4 years: FL, GA, and NC. All of them were clean and the service was good. In the GA Waffle House, one a patron was a carrying a holstered revolver and no one batted an eye, but then again it was GA.
