I own a 92 MR2 turbo that begins to fly the front wheels at
just under 100mph. Horsepower and redline guarantee 147mph.

Do backflips while airborne demonstrate flying?

Cars get airborne at 100+ mph, with no means of steering.
That's why race cars have wings - to keep the car down on the ground.
Opposite of an airplane.

LOL! I had a 1972 240z whose fenders were so rusty they’d nearly start flapping like wings at speed. Didn’t quite take off, though.
