On Monday, Eagles running back LeSean McCoy was accused by a local Philadelphia restaurant of leaving a 20-cent tip on a $60 bill.
Although the running back has yet to comment on the incident, the owner kept pressing the issue on Tuesday.
In a statement posted on the restaurant's Facebook page, PYT owner Tommy Up accused the running back of being "verbally abusive to our staff in the most insulting ways" and making "derogatory statements" about women.

But I’m giving him a break I don’t think anyone has an obligation to tip, and if you are going to publicly humiliate a patron for a small tip, I hope your place goes out of business.

Philly or not, the “help” are employes of the establishment not the public. Tips are charity and for service over and above the norm...
Somehow McCoy is going to end up getting suspended out of this....the NFL is turning into the torches & pitchforks league with the sports media directly in the mix. Just watch Olberman doing the same douchebaggery on ESPN that he did in the rise of MSNBC.

So funny. Actually my roommate had a summer job up near the Canadian border. She said that Canadians didn’t understand the whole tipping concept and would never leave a tip.
Chesapeake Bay Seafood House in Northern VA in the late 70s... My first exposure to this phenomena. 10,000 of them at the table, all “family”, whatever that means in their world, and the tip was such that Trayvon Martin could have multiplied it in his head by a factor of five and gotten the correct answer.
You are 100% correct, BUT..... so is the NBA, and libs are NOT gunning for the NBA because it is not HUGE, it is not STUNNINGLY SUCCESSFUL, and regular Americans do not LOVE it like football while shunning soccer.
