No one EVER wants to use the words, "kill a human being" ... and some may even be brought up on charges for using those words, yet ... when an evil human being is dead ... THAT particular evil has ended.
Guys on death row ... whether sooner or later ... die because they were/are evil and had/has been adjudicated as such.
NO one wants to murder someone, but IMO .. some humans should be dead and no longer active or an influence.

Muslims are particularly keen to agree with Christians - though they may not admit to the agreement - there are some things known that are worse than death.
Among the best defenses of the death penalty I've ever heard is the enormity of capital crimes exceeds the limitations of human law, thus, "we send you to a higher court for dispensation."
The post-modern liberal cannot stand such an argument.
