This new video looked like she was advancing on Ray Rice and was going to hit him. He beat her to it by knocking her out cold when she got in punching range. Rice did mot move his feet. He did not move in on her and punch. She came towards him

To clarify: the commissioner had not seen what happened INSIDE the elevator. Not certain, but it may have been held by police and not released.

Any woman who is stupid enough to *marry* a thug who hit her deserves to lose her meal ticket.
I know, right? I guess as long as it was left up to the imagination, even though everybody knew what happened, the Ravens and the NFL could go on protecting their money makers as per usual. But now that people can SEE the reality it can’t be swept under the rug.

I don’t get the confusion. When I posted after hearing the bulletin on FOX SPORTS, I said that it was new footage inside the elevator.
I agree that the video inside the elevator was not necessary to be seen to suspend him longer, UNLESS she went after him, she slipped, she fell, and she hit her head.
Now that he’s lost the BIG $$$$..what’s the over/under on when she files for divorce?
Do you know anything about his contract?..How much left is guaranteed..and if the new indefinite suspension is without pay?
Nobody's preventing him from working. The only thing that would stop that is if he went to prison. He just can't play football anymore.

If I were on the jury, she provoked him. They are in complete denial on ESPN, but she took a swing at him and charged him - can’t tell if she was hit with a hand or a fist. What difference does it make they were probaby both drunk. All this does is punish the wife.
