His compassion and obvious concern for her well being after he knocks her out and drags her from the elevator is overwhelming. I’ve never seen such chivalry and respect.

Based on the database, I would say that Rice received a disproportionate punishment. Obviously, the NFL is responding to women's groups and political correctness. They were upset by the two game suspension. I suspect the release of the video was the pretext for harsher punishment. The facts of the case have not changed. The emotional impact of the one punch KO changed things.
Half the season ticket holders it seems sold their tickets to 49ers fans for the first game. It looked like a 49er home game.

For what? This is new information. The video is worse than the worst case scenario about what happened in the elevator. We only saw the aftermath. It could have been a variety of situations leading to that moment we saw on video last spring, and it could be been a much less damning situation. Without going into hypotheticals, it could have been accidental or instigated by the wife and not intentional. Now we know. It was unconscionable violence.
She has to cooperate with the cops/DA for him to go to jail. Good luck with all that.
If you see the whole video, it looks like he took a swat at her first when they are close, then he backed away, she is stunned and grabbed her nose, then she came at him and he hit her a second time to knock her out.
She hit him before they got in the elevator. Maybe he spit on her then, too.
The person most pissed off is Ray Rice’s wife. She just lost her meal tickey
