The drawback there is that you end up with appliances that are 30-40yrs old, and your wife gets sick of looking at them. The only reason that I can see to replace my 30+yr old frig is that, with the grand kids growing, I need more space for sticking their pictures. But, I’ll find a work-around.

The plumber re-lit the pilot light. We could have done that, but I was distracted and didn’t ask Bob.

I really wanted to let my family just live with cold water for a week or so. I’m sure the neighbors would have let me give Kathleen a bath at their house.

What a deliciously vindictive thought that is...cold water for the unwashed masses...

My aide just left, and I definitely need to contact the company and tell them NOT to change him. If they do, I will complain long and loudly about the company to the agency.

I’m glad you had a successful aide-visit today. I went through the paper-heaps this morning, and didn’t find any dangerously overripe bills. I also cleaned bathrooms. I have a plan for slob-persons to do this in future.

I would have had the slob-persons doing it a while ago, followed by a visual inspection before any “freebies” were granted. If they are big enough to be knowing slobs, they are big enough to clean up after themselves.

If all else fails, you can go on strike as to the bathrooms and whatever else they expect you to do.

I just found out I can get a Kiwanis pin and possibly a photocopy of the original Certificate of Charter from the club in Payson that my dad was the first president of. That is such exciting news!

I really NEED to go there and spend a week at the museum and other places I know my dad was and try to find some of his paintings in local businesses. That would be so much fun for me!

The problem with going on strike is that they don’t care. You would not believe the amount of uncivilized reek they will tolerate, rather than exert themselves.

How far is Payson (Utah?) from where you live?

Payson is about 500 miles. I can stay with a friend while I am there, but it would still stretch my budget to help them with food.

When I went there for the class reunion in 2012, I think it cost me about $200. Maybe less. But I was only there for three days.
