I hate when I leave the lights on! I can pretty well figure I’m going to do it about once a year, no matter how diligent I try to be!
Pills to be sorted...and then taken along with breakfast.
Then a shower. Maybe the hot water will take some of the soreness out of my ribs for a while. I have GOT to quit falling! I’m getting too old for this stuff!

It was probably beeping at me to turn the lights off, but I was distracted.

It sounded like a shooting range at my place last night.
My daughter said, “Is that thunder?”
I listened, and suggested that considering the date, it might be noise from a re-enactment ceremony at Fort McHenry.
Two hundred years, the Brits were showing off their military ordinance, and one of our locals was inspired to write a poem about the incident.
The fort’s up at the harbor. It’s not visible from here, but you can see the rocket’s red glare, and you can hear the thunder, thunder.

Never been to Fort McHenry but know the entire story and sacrifice of the night that all hades capable at the time was unleashed upon our Flag and the Men that volunteered to go out to their meeting with God. The Men that went out to certain death tells everyone how this Nation was forged. May God grant all Americans, once more, the solemn promise there is still Americans, all Men and Women of America, that will be willing to go to the gates of Hades, if necessary, to keep our Flag. America is so much more than one person, one poem, one song. America is a privilege granted by God's Will and the will of those Men at Fort McHenry willing to give their all that our Flag would continue to fly that night. I tear up every time I think of their sacrifice.

Fine motor skills are not James’s strong point.
Tom and Elen haven’t returned yet. I hope they didn’t get lost! Pat and I fed the dragons. Now Pat wants to do math, so I guess I’ll go do needlepoint.
Wait, that sounds like the car.

My house sits between where Francis Scott Key was living at the time, and the Fort. The British could have fired at this location when they were traveling up the Chesapeake.
They wouldn’t have hit my house, though, because it wasn’t there. A tree just a few steps from my door was a witness, back in its younger days. Its reaction nowadays is the same as it was then; “nuts”.

"Casey at the Bat?" Something about hanging around Baltimore's red light district.
I've been there too. The stories I could tell!

I let the hot water play on my ribs, and the muscles loosened up a bit, but it’s still hard to breathe. I’ll head out here in about 30 minutes and stop at Walmart for some essentials.
I read through that stuff I emailed you again, and yes, I was right. :o]
The balance problem I have is caused by CFIDS. It affects the central nervous system, and THAT causes a Gordian knot of symptoms.
