I finished the second part of Timmy’s extended story. You may remember I stretched the short story into a novella. Well, I stretched that into a sequel, so I guess that makes this “Second Timothy”.

Actually, I called the novella “Ethereal”, so I’m calling this part “Transcendence”.

“Ethereal” was 99 pages.

“Transcendence” came in at 187 pages.

I was considering breaking off a third section from the second, but it would have been too thin.

Timmy’s a good boy, you know. Sings in church. It’s a bit of a change for me.

But, things just don’t work as envisioned.

I guess Soames would be the non-ethereal “anti-Timmy”, the darker flipside of near immortality?

Chainsaw was six months old this week! She has lots of energy. I hope you get some sleep....

I'm so happy to hear chainsaw is doing well!

4 of the 5 puppies are sold, and will be picked up by their new families this coming Thursday. (At 8 weeks old). I like to think I'll get some sleep that night, but I'll probably be missing them too much. :-)
