Stalking walking plinths plan a party.
Arts and crafts, as interpreted by cat.
You could have shut the bathroom door, but you didn’t ...
Had to keep an eye on the plotting plinths!
Unexpectedly, of course.
Right when a vehicle is nearby.
....its
If they step on you, it doesn't matter which.
Out west, they go wind-surfing.
That is one of the wonders of the natural world.
Blocks of rock whooping it up across the desert.
Yes, Bob and I both got bionic inserts, and I had two very special chauffeurs for my experiences! One even saved my life, literally!
Now I tell people I have implants... ;o]
One bottle would do me just fine... <3
Looks like eight machetes... Cute kitteh!
Slick mud and strong wind!
Sounds like a mud lovers paradise.
Have seen it done in Dunedin Harbour NZ.
“Mud ,Mud ,Glorious mud. Nothing quite like it for cooling the blood.”
No Mob Museum, yesterday. He had other things on his mind, so we went to the doctor for a check on his kidneys, then to a “new” Walmart that is probably the smallest SuperWalmart I have ever seen. I thought the one I go to in Henderson was little but this one just had about 10 aisles, very close together, with food.
The meat and deli sections were in one and there were only two sections of frozen food. Hard to find what we were looking for, but the store itself was better stocked and much better laid out than the ones either of us go to.
In the afternoon, we went to the army surplus store, and I saw, for the first time, a section of MREs and other storable foods. I need to go there and get some until I can get my 3-day bug-out bag all stocked. It will take a few paydays, but it has been nagging me a lot, so I’m thinking I need to get it done, soon.
I’m going home today but will come back tomorrow and see what I can do with his iPad. I didn’t bring the Win8.1 book, so I didn’t even want to start with it.
And my ribs are killing me. I’m all out of Ibuprofen and so is he, and that’s not going to be funny by the end of the day.
It’s more like wet clay, as it sticks together so well.
We have a lot of that here in the desert. The sun is so hot after the monsoons that it quickly sucks the moisture out of the mud and leaves cracks.
Sometimes, if one is lucky, one can see the moist soil underneath; that’s when the edges of the individual cakes curl upwards for a while...until the cake is completely dry, and then it flattens out.
Strong wind for sure. But the latest explanation for the sliding rocks is a thin layer of ice on top of an infrequent and therefore evanescent water puddle.
For ice, a heavy frost should do the trick. The tracks left in the mud will obviously indicate that there had to be mud, even though the desert surface is dry when the researchers show up to be mystified.
Film at eleven. (The film is time-exposure, and we all know that that means the shutter wasn't open when the spirits were present.)
See? Scientists don't know as much as they think they do!
Point is, time-exposure film is evidence, but it isn't proof.
