Ah, vegetarians. I guess the bacteria lived because it was eaten uncooked.

From Google:
Shinella kummerowiae sp. nov., a symbiotic bacterium isolated from root nodules of the herbal legume Kummerowia stipulacea.
Bacterial strain CCBAU 25048(T) was isolated from root nodules of Kummerowia stipulacea grown in Shandong province of China.

From China, not surprising from the country that brought us leprosy and the Bubonic plague.
