I have a cousin who started vegetarian, then went vegan, now has added gluten-free. *shrug* I don’t care what people eat, or don’t, as long as they don’t preach about it (and she doesn’t). But the “raw diet” people.... yeah... that’s one I don’t understand aTall.
If that cousin is female and decides to get pregnant, she will guaranteed have a miserable pregnancy as her body takes all the things it needs to build that new person in the womb, from her body instead of from the food she ISN'T eating. If the baby makes it to term, it will be extremely underweight, and if she tries to feed that baby a vegan diet after weaning from breastmilk, the baby WILL DIE. It is acknowledged that the earliest that it is "safe" to wean a human child off of animal protein (including dairy) is the age of five or six.
And then -- look at them. Vegan children are typically listless and have deep gray circles under their eyes.
I speak from decades-long personal experience with assorted vegans.
Veganism is Darwinism in action. Veganism is for fools.
I look forward to the latest offerings on our cruise menu.
Will they have a Captains and a Moochelle’s recommended menu and the Chef’s menu to the side?
Maybe a low carbon diet offering.
