I wonder if my having a freeper neighbour is any mmore unlikely than the Fuddy story (secret divers, two planes, wax bodies, fake funerals, fake caskets, thousands in on it) that led me here. I’ll let anyone with a brain cell decide that.

Reading your comment you’d almost think birthers had made some progress in the last 6 years. How many cases is it birthers have lost now? Is it over 400 yet? And how many public figures are on board - Trump and Pat Boone I hear you say? Of course Sheriff Joe will ride to the rescue, because Mike Zullo is so close to cracking this thing wide open, the crack detective and his team of ... oh no, it’s just him now isn’t it? And he wasn’t a detective ever was he - just a small town police officer for a few years decades ago. Actually he’s been a used car salesman for most of the last 20 years hasn’t he?

Sure - I’m the one that’s deluded! Have a great week.

So you think the claim of living next door to “a freeper” is the most unlikely part of your story? Figures. Shilling for Obama has cost anti-birthers their most basic ability to think, reason & analyze, & none of them even realize it, much less resent him for it.

Let me break it down for you. So you claim to live next door to a freeper. Long odds, given FR membership vs overall population, but let that go. Long odds happen.

But you don’t live next door to merely ‘a freeper’. No, you live next door to a freeper who was deeply following the Fuddy thread. So deeply engaged in it, in fact, that he she would take the unusual move, being a conservative-birther, of enlisting the aid of a liberal to set his fellow freepers right on the oh-so-critical-issue of scuba diving.

[& how, you may ask, do I know your [imaginary] FR ‘neighbor’ is a conservative birther? Why, you told me so. You told us all that, in your Tall Tale intro. Very convenient of you to do so, I might add.]

Well that narrows it down—and extends the odds exponentially. How many freepers were that engrossed in the Fuddy thread? How many die-hard conservative birthers would enlist the aid of a liberal neighbor, going so far as to invite him, contrary to the rules of the site [it’s a meeting place for conservatives, not liberals] to sign up & put his fellow conservatives some knowledge?

I’m guess the answer to that one is ‘zero’. I have never yet, even once, met a fellow conservative birther who expressed anything close to the sentiment that what we really need on our birther threads is yet another Obama-shilling liberal. Rather, ten out of ten believe there are too many Obama-apologists infesting the site already.

But wait, there’s more. Not only are you a diving expert—you’re a world class anti-birther!! [Don’t get excited. It doesn’t take much to be World Class in this category. Just memorize the same lame talking points that anti-birthers post over and over and over and over and over and over and over throughout their boring, repetitious no-life lives, and you quality.] You have every single anti-birther TP at your fingertips—PLUS, as an extra added bonus, you know all the anti-birther scuttlebutt too. You really are a premier anti-birther!!

So now, what are the odds that a conservative birther just happens, coincidentally, to ask his liberal neighbor to join a conservative site, claiming it’s all about scuba diving know-how, to comment on an esoteric birther thread, and the diving expert ‘just happens’ to be the mother of all anti-birthers?

Hint, Big Blue couldn’t calculate those odds. They’re off the chart.

Oh, & please don’t ask me how I know you’re a liberal. You told me that personally, & I can’t/won’t believe you didn’t do it on purpose. Nobody, not even an anti-birther, can be so clueless as to say what you said & not know it gives the game away.

Now comes your ‘brilliant’ argument about birthers & the courts. So original. So dispositive. What’s left so say?

How about this. The courts have overwhelmingly found that the Constitution is more concerned with changing the definition of ‘marriage’ so as to establish and protect the right of two homosexuals to legally marry in a manner identical to that of a man & a woman than it is with respecting State’s Rights. Do you agree that the vast majority of decisions on this subject are correct? If so, why?
