I managed to listen to about a half-hour of the show yesterday as I drove from Baltimore to Southern Maryland — but it was mostly one of those rare moments when he takes a call from a woman who goes on to tell him how great he is and he continues asking the caller how great he really is and what the caller likes most about Michael Savage.

I actually switched the dial to Hannity for about 10 minutes.

I guess that we need to look at this Scottish independence thing long and hard. By “we’ I mean me. The Scotland of song and fable, with its many heroic sons and daughters, that many Americans fantasize about, maybe doesn’t exist any more.
